About Tessa
I have over 3 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering with a guitar focus. My approach emphasizes improvisation, helping students explore jazz and blues in creative ways. Lessons are fun, goal-oriented, and tailored to the student.
I guide students through modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing. Together, we build technical skill and a personal improvisational style.
I’ve worked with intermediate to advanced learners and those preparing for professional gigs. Every session encourages expressive, spontaneous musical creation.
