About Ellie
I have been teaching at a local College for Level 3 Media students for over a year. I have taught around 80 students over the last year, all have achieved excellent grades for the year. 80% of the learners in the first year achieved a merit grade or over so can progress into the second year. Around 60% of learners who have finished both years are progressing on to some impressive university placements.
Up until I started teaching, I was completing my undergraduate degree, post graduate degree and am completing my teaching qualification. I have also been working in the film and television industry so have a wealth of knowledge and experience that I can pass on to potential students starting out in the sector.

Lesson structure will contain a mixture of direct teaching, with self directed activities and often an independent assignment to be completed weekly with an additional, larger assignment for each term.
Assignments will not always be essay based but may even require practical application of skills and techniques learned about and put into practice.
My methodology is very learner centred, the learning experience belongs to you and I can adapt my lesson plans to fit with each individual learner.
