About Drea
With 9 years of experience and nearly 150 students successfully guided, I teach flute to learners of all ages and skill levels. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and my teaching style adapts to match their individual learning pace.
My lessons focus on breath control, tone quality, articulation, finger coordination, rhythm accuracy, and music theory fundamentals. I break down complex musical ideas into simple steps so students can understand clearly and progress confidently.
I begin by assessing each student’s goals—whether they are learning for exams, performances, competitions, or personal interest. Based on this, I design structured lesson plans that provide measurable improvement.
My unique ability lies in clear communication and patient guidance. I encourage students to ask questions freely and build confidence through consistent practice.
I create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported. My goal is to help students achieve technical excellence while developing a genuine love for flute playing.

My flute teaching methodology is based on structured progression, adaptability, collaboration, and a positive learning environment. I understand that each student has a unique way of learning, so I carefully adapt my teaching methods to match their comfort level and understanding style.
I begin with essential fundamentals such as posture, breath control, embouchure formation, and tone production. Once the foundation is stable, I gradually introduce finger techniques, scale patterns, articulation exercises, and rhythm coordination. I ensure that students fully understand each concept before moving to the next stage.
In addition to practical flute training, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm counting, and ear training. This helps students connect technical skills with musical understanding. Flexibility allows me to adjust the lesson plan based on the student’s pace and goals, whether for exams, performances, or personal learning.
Collaboration is encouraged through open discussions, goal setting, and repertoire selection. I maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere where students feel confident to experiment and improve. My aim is to build technically strong, disciplined, and expressive flute players.
