About Jessie

I'm a patient, encouraging, and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students develop confidence in their academic abilities. I believe everyone learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is a little extra practice and a different approach to make something finally click!

I enjoy breaking complicated concepts into smaller, manageable steps and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My focus is on elementary-level math foundations, building understanding, strengthening skills, and helping students feel more comfortable with mathematics.

About the lesson

Struggling with math? Need a little extra practice or someone who can explain things differently? I'm here to help!

I offer beginner-friendly elementary math tutoring for students in grades 2–5. My goal is to make learning math less intimidating by breaking concepts down into smaller, easier-to-understand steps.

Topics include:

Addition and subtraction

Multiplication and division

Number recognition and place value

Fractions and decimals

Time and money

Basic geometry

Measurements

Word problems

Math homework assistance

I welcome students who need additional practice, encouragement, or a little extra time to understand new concepts.
