About Nathan
I am a passionate piano tutor with 18 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I enjoy helping students learn piano in a simple and effective way.
My teaching approach focuses on communication, patience, and step-by-step learning. I understand each student’s goals and create lessons that match their level and pace. I focus on building strong basics like finger technique, rhythm, and note reading.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice. These help students understand music better and improve their performance. I also include song-based learning to keep lessons engaging.
My strength is making complex concepts easy to understand. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop good practice habits.
I create a positive and supportive environment. My goal is to help students enjoy piano and grow in their musical journey.

I emphasize creativity, encouraging students to experiment, improvise, and compose music in various styles. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, ensuring learning is enjoyable, productive, and stress-free.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology strengthens technical proficiency, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to help students grow into confident, creative, and lifelong musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music.
