About Martina

With over 6 years of experience teaching French to college students, I help learners develop confidence and fluency in the language. My main focus is not just teaching French, but helping students communicate clearly and naturally in real situations.

My teaching approach is friendly, structured, and practical. I believe students learn best when lessons are easy to understand and connected to real life. I break complex grammar rules into simple explanations and use examples that students can relate to. This helps learners remember concepts and apply them correctly.

I use innovative methods such as guided conversations, role-playing activities, scenario-based learning, and interactive quizzes. Students practise speaking French from the very first lessons, which builds confidence and reduces fear. I also use modern resources like videos, articles, and everyday conversations to make lessons more engaging.

Each lesson is customised based on the student’s college syllabus, language level, and personal goals. Whether the student wants to improve speaking, writing, grammar, or exam performance, I provide clear guidance and regular feedback.

I believe motivation is key to language learning. I encourage students, track their progress, and celebrate improvements, big or small. My aim is to make French learning a positive and rewarding experience that supports both academic success and future opportunities.

About the lesson

I believe learning French should be both creative and practical. My teaching style focuses on helping students develop their language skills through interactive exercises, real-life examples, and storytelling. I encourage creativity by letting students express themselves through writing, speaking, and even role-playing, making lessons engaging and memorable.

As a critical thinker and mentor, I guide students to analyse language patterns, understand grammar deeply, and develop independent problem-solving skills. I focus on building strong foundations while also nurturing curiosity and confidence in using French in daily life.

Accountability is important to me. I set clear goals for each student and track progress consistently, ensuring that learning is effective and measurable. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s learning style, pace, and interests.

Beyond French, I can help with related subjects like grammar, literature, or even basic language skills in other languages. My goal is to create a supportive, flexible, and motivating environment where students not only learn French but also gain critical thinking and lifelong learning skills.
