About Baker

With a strong background in music and teaching, I help students of all ages develop their piano skills and musical understanding. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, providing expertise in both theory and performance. I have taught beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams, recitals, and competitions. My lessons are student-centred, practical, and designed to be engaging and motivating. I use real-life examples and case studies to make rhythm, melody, and harmony relatable and easy to understand. Motivation is a key part of my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate milestones. Problem-solving is integrated into lessons to develop analytical thinking and independence. I teach with integrity, creating a safe, honest, and supportive environment for learning. I am flexible, adapting lessons to the student’s pace, style, and objectives. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition. I prepare students for exams, competitions, and performances while fostering creativity, confidence, and discipline. Lessons are available online or in-person for all ages. I focus on technical skill, musical expression, and fostering a lifelong love for music. Each lesson is structured, enjoyable, and rewarding. My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and passionate musicians.

About the lesson

Lessons are offered online or in-person, suitable for all ages. My goal is to help students play with skill, express themselves creatively, and develop a lasting love and appreciation for music.
