About Mason
With 8 years of experience in teaching and professional work, I have built a meaningful career as a passionate piano tutor dedicated to student growth. I teach school and college students, guiding them from their very first lesson to confident and expressive performances.
My love for music and education motivates me to create lessons that are structured, patient, and inspiring. I believe that piano learning is not only about playing melodies but also about building discipline, focus, and emotional expression. Over the years, I have trained many students who began as complete beginners and gradually developed into confident performers.
One of the proudest milestones in my journey was preparing students for school concerts and watching them perform fearlessly on stage. I focus strongly on fundamentals such as correct posture, finger strength, rhythm accuracy, and music reading skills. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and goals.
My classroom atmosphere is positive and encouraging, allowing students to grow comfortably. Teaching piano is my passion, and I am committed to shaping confident, creative, and disciplined individuals through music.

My piano teaching philosophy emphasises building confident, disciplined, and expressive musicians. I design lessons that combine technical exercises, theory, and song practice tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. Motivation helps students stay consistent and confident by celebrating progress and encouraging regular practice.
Communication is simple, patient, and detailed, allowing students to understand note reading, hand coordination, tempo, dynamics, articulation, and expressive phrasing. Integrity guides my professional approach, ensuring punctuality, well-prepared lessons, and honest evaluation of progress.
Creativity is integrated into each session through improvisation, composing melodies, exploring harmonies, and experimenting with different musical styles. Along with piano, I also teach sight reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, and music theory to support well-rounded musical development.
