About Susanna

I've taught many A Level students Philosophy and Ethics, across exam boards and syllabuses, and have helped improve their grades.

I have a 2:1 in Theology and Religious Studies from Newnham College, Cambridge and I've been teaching since 2010.

About the lesson

I'm Susanna and I love philosophy! I studied Theology and Religious Studies at Cambridge and I really enjoy having a good debate as well as helping you improve your essay style and arguments. I'm great at explaining tricky concepts and I'll always make sure you understand everything before moving on.

Perfect! Susanna taught A-Level philosophy to my daughter. She was an excellent tutor with a special talent for breaking down complicated concepts or arguments and explaining them in a more easily understandable way. I was very impressed and I would say that she can greatly help students in reaching the highest grades.

Susanna is blessed with a warm friendly demeanour. She has the ability to explain new ideas in a clear, easily comprehensible and concise manner. When going through a new idea she gives the feeling that she is 'there alongside' rather than talking down. She is no less authoritative for that.

I know her through the Cambridge Unitarian church where she both chaired and organised the 'Cambridge Free Thinkers' evenings held there. This was a weekly forum in which to explore many of the challenging issues of our day. Her ethics and compassion, as well as her ability to let everyone have their say without any one person dominating the proceedings was quite excellent.

All in all I find her to be a careful and caring, highly considerate person who loves to see others fulfill their potential.
