About Dylan
I have 11 years of teaching and professional experience as a Trumpet tutor, and I enjoy guiding school and college students toward musical success. My goal is to make every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and focused on helping students reach their full potential.
My teaching includes breathing techniques, posture correction, embouchure development, articulation, rhythm, tone quality, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. Lessons are personalized to ensure students continue improving with confidence.
One of the greatest rewards of my career has been watching students perform with confidence and achieve their personal musical goals. Their success inspires me to continue teaching with enthusiasm and dedication.
I encourage students to practice consistently, remain patient during challenges, and celebrate every improvement they make. My classroom is friendly, supportive, and focused on continuous growth.
Teaching is my passion because it allows me to help students develop musical excellence while building confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for learning.

My teaching philosophy is centered on helping students enjoy trumpet learning while developing technical excellence and musical creativity. I prepare lessons that are suitable for each student's ability, interests, and learning objectives.
Motivation encourages students to continue learning with confidence. I support students through challenges and celebrate their achievements.
Communication is a major part of my teaching style. I explain every concept clearly in simple English, provide demonstrations, and encourage students to communicate openly.
Integrity guides my teaching through respect, honesty, and commitment. I provide constructive feedback and encourage students to develop strong practice habits.
Creativity helps students connect with music. I use breathing exercises, rhythm activities, articulation drills, improvisation, musical expression, and performance training.
Besides trumpet, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm reading, ensemble playing, beginner improvisation, and music appreciation. My aim is to help students become creative, confident, and successful musicians.
