About Daniel

I am Daniel, a passionate and dedicated Mathematics and Physics tutor and a First Class Physics graduate from the University of Ibadan. I have over five years of tutoring experience and have taught students across different age groups and academic levels, including KS3 to KS5 and students preparing for examinations such GCSE, and A-levels.

My academic background has developed strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my teaching. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simple, clear, and understandable steps and helping students develop confidence in their ability to solve problems.

I understand that every student has a unique learning style, so I adapt my teaching approach according to each learner's needs, level of understanding, and pace of learning. I also believe that consistent practice is essential for mastery. For this reason, I provide students with plenty of exercises during and after lessons to reinforce their understanding, assess their progress, and identify areas that need further attention.

Beyond helping students prepare for examinations, I aim to help them understand the practical relevance of Mathematics and Physics by connecting concepts to real-life applications. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can improve their academic performance, develop strong problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.

I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential and develop a genuine appreciation for Mathematics and Physics.

About the lesson

I am a Physics graduate and graduated among the best students in my class. I am also an experienced and dedicated tutor with over five years of experience teaching students from KS3 to KS5.

My teaching methodology focuses on making mathematical and Physics concepts clear, practical, and engaging. I begin by explaining the concept and demonstrating its real-life applications, usually providing up to five examples of how the topic is applied in everyday life and explaining why it is important to study. This helps students understand not only how to solve problems but also why the concepts are relevant.

After introducing the concept, I explain the underlying mathematical principles step by step, ensuring that the student understands each stage before progressing. I then provide several guided exercises to reinforce the concept. Once the student has gained sufficient understanding, I give them questions to solve independently to assess their comprehension and identify areas that may require further explanation.

I also provide regular homework and additional practice questions to help students consolidate what they have learnt outside the lesson.

I teach students from KS3 to KS5, covering different levels of Mathematics and Physics, including students preparing for GCSE and A-level examinations. I adapt my teaching approach to the student's age, academic level, learning pace, and individual needs.
