About Rehan

Hello there! I'm Rehan, an Engineering Physics student at the University of British Columbia and, if you've come this far, hopefully your next tutor.

I like to figure things out from the ground up, which more often than not actually happens outside the classroom. I've been lucky enough to work on a wide range of projects from coral reef restoration in Thailand, to publishing machine learning papers in the field of astronomy.

The common factor in all those projects? Curiosity. Call it math, science, or art - they're all just different languages to express and explore curiosity. And I know for a fact that everyone's a little curious.

The best teachers I've had have helped me develop that curiosity, and through a little math and physics, I'll do my best to do the same.

About the lesson

My approach is all about making learning engaging and relatable. I believe in creating a supportive and interactive environment that fosters curiosity. I use a combination of real-world examples, hands-on activities, and clear explanations to ensure concepts stick.

Each session is crafted with your goals in mind. We start by revisiting previous topics to reinforce understanding, then delve into new material with a mix of discussions, problem-solving, and practical exercises. I encourage questions and tailor the pace to match your comfort level.

As someone who has been tutoring since high school, I understand how classrooms can often make students feel left behind. My commitment goes beyond the sessions—we'll work together to identify challenges, set realistic goals, and celebrate achievements. I provide additional resources for independent study and offer ongoing support between sessions.
