About Brysen
I have a strong background in math and science. After high school, I first attended Campbell University where I majored in mechanical engineering. From there, I attended Wake Technical Community College for a year, majoring in physics. Finally, I am currently enrolled in an online STEM mathematics program through Liberty University where I am just three courses away from my Associates degree. I have taken and completed math courses through calculus 3 as well as a variety of science and engineering courses.

I am able to switch my teaching methods per the needs of each individual students. I understand each student will learn different, some visual, some doing the problems themselves, etc. I am able and more than happy to teach in the way that best fits each student. In general, I like to walk through example problems step by step, as each step is crucial to the success of solving a problem. I also like to connect problems to real-world applications, so students can better understand why they learn these topics and have something to help them remember. Answering the specific questions or solving a specific problem a student is struggling with is also a key aspect of my teaching, as those tend to be the ones that students need more growth with. My strengths will best suite students needing help with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus.
