I teach from the basics. I have seen many students having basics problem such as multiplication, division, etc which haunts them in further higher classes, so I can build the concepts from basics to understand better.
Regardingscience subjects such as physics,I think it depends on teacher whether he teaches conceptually or not. I can visualise you the concepts with real life examples to get a better grip.
