About Sven
Hello, my name is Sven, I am 21 years old and studying Engineering in Germany.
I completed my Matura with a final grade of 5.5 (highest grade 6.0) and currently maintain very strong academic performance at university.
During my practical semester, I lived and worked in Basel for nearly a year at Roche.
I have been tutoring for several years and have supported over 12 students and university learners, primarily in mathematics, but also in English, German and French when needed.

I offer structured and systematic mathematics tutoring for students in Secondary I and II, all levels of Gymnasium, as well as university students.
We begin by assessing the current level and identifying specific gaps. From there, we rebuild foundations step by step and practice relevant problem types until real confidence develops. My goal is to ensure deep understanding rather than short-term memorization.
Upon request, I regularly provide additional exercises and study materials to support progress between sessions.
I typically recommend 90-minute sessions to allow sufficient depth, but lesson duration can be adjusted flexibly.
I am very flexible with scheduling. During exam periods, lesson frequency can be increased; during quieter phases, it can be reduced accordingly.
Currently, I offer online tutoring as I am spending a semester abroad. From summer 2026 onwards, in-person lessons in the Basel area will be possible again upon request.
