I do my best to encourage the student to lead the way. I ask questions that require in-depth thinking and focus on the student's engagement and contribution to the session. By guiding the student towards the correct answer and seeing their thought process , I am able to understand where they are struggling. Honesty, patience, flexibility, and personal experience are key aspects in my tutoring and I hope to share them! I have years of experience tutoring students from first grade though college and am confident working with students from different backgrounds of various ages.
