About Irina

As a civil engineering student with a passion for teaching, I understand the importance of balancing professionalism with a friendly, approachable atmosphere. My goal is to make learning both effective and enjoyable. With a solid academic background in Cambridge, I achieved A* in the following subjects in O'level:

About the lesson

As a tutor, my main goal is to simplify difficult concepts as much as possible so that the basics are clear and the student builds a strong foundation. I will tailor each session according to the student's learning style, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience.

Teaching methodology and techniques:
Explain in such simple words that the student would have no problem grasping the concepts. My lectures will include a lot of real world examples. At the beginning of each lecture, the previous lessons will be reviewed and at the end of each lecture there will be a recap of the entire class. We will be going through some practice problems together, guiding the student to solve problems independently. I believe in active learning and problem-solving. I encourage students to ask any questions without any hesitation, engage in discussions, and work through problems step-by-step.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I adjust my teaching pace and style based on the student’s learning speed and needs. I explain concepts in a simple, concise manner, breaking down complicated theories into manageable parts. And not to mention my classes are laid-back and enjoyable, with plenty of laughter and jokes to keep things light. We'll focus on understanding the material without overloading, making sure learning feels natural and stress-free!

My classes are for high school students where we will be focusing on math and physics, including pre-calculus, algebra, geometry, and quantum physics.
