About Richard
I have three undergraduate degrees, an honours degree and a PGCE. I have four years helping undergrads and post-grads with academic literacy and more than 2 years teaching at high school level. I have taken on several high performing students to help them excel and unlock potential, but also assisted those that feel overwhelmed by the small challenges of literature and writing.

I have a strong student centered approach and feel that it is important to empower the student with clear approaches to new material. Therefore, initially, there would be a needs assessment completed in order to understand where there are specific areas in need of development. This may often centre on a specific piece of work that needs to be generated. This can go through each stage of written production including critical reading, analysis, planning, drafting and final production.
