About Nadia

I have a bachelor of Education from McGill University in Montreal, and have taught ESL to students of all ages for over 25 years. I can work with you one-on-one or in small groups, adapting our lessons to fit your needs, whether they be grammar-based, conversation-based, or a combination of both.

About the lesson

Learning a language can sometimes be difficult and frustrating, so in addition to the regular written and oral exercises, I like to throw in some games and activities for fun. Not every student learns in the same way, so I will adapt my teaching methods to make sure that you are comfortable with a concept before moving on. I always give students work to complete between lessons, so that the concepts we worked on in class can be mastered by you at home. If you have questions between lessons, I am always available by email to answer them.

Nadia a été un super coatch de jeu et d'accent anglophone pour moi. Elle arrive à créer un climat détendu, joyeux et de confiance qui nous amène à nous dépasser. Que ce soit pour préparer une audition ou simplement pour le plaisir de travailler des scènes, je la recommande à tout la monde!

Nadia is a fantastic teacher. Not only is she positive in her approach, she is also extremely clear and specific when she gives directions. She will work around your strengths and goes out of her way to make sure you feel strong in your work. She's coached me for an audition which I ended up booking, huge thanks to her help! English being my second langage, it was very helpful to work with Nadia, not only on an acting level, but also on a dialect and speech level. I highly recommend her work!

Nadia is highly motivated, patient and professional. I produce theatre and Nadia has been my director for 5 years. She is extremely skilled at building on our strengths and improving our weaknesses. I have also hired Nadia to sub for me for drama classes I teach. No matter the age, Nadia delivers results in a creative and supportive way. I highly recommend her.
