About Elizabeth
English and philosophy double major at Columbia and Cambridge with several years experience freelance editing. Current postgraduate student at University College London. I will advise on improvements in rhetorical style, clarity, and ways to get your point across; for personal essays I will suggest ways to better highlight your strengths.
Within creative writing, I am currently working on my twentieth novel and am particularly interested in helping budding novelists get started. I'm here to help hone your writing skills and help you develop your craft!

In a lesson on analytical or personal writing, I will go over a piece provided by you and suggest personalized ways to improve your rhetorical or analytical writing. This may be analytical work, personal essay, or a just-for-fun piece you're writing! We will discuss the direction you want to take the piece and I will highlight how best to highlight your voice, how to refine your analysis, or how to make your central question clear and concise.
In a lesson on novel writing, we will start at whatever stage you come in with. Finished a manuscript but not sure where to go? We'll discuss how to make a second draft without losing focus or motivation. Have a great idea but not sure how to put it into words? We'll make a plan and get started on characters. Not sure how to make your voice stronger? Let's discuss. I'm excited to work with you on your idea!
