About Matilda

About Matilda CELTA qualified teacher with seven years experience. As a qualified CELTA teacher, I have worked with a range of clients based in Brazil, Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Turkey, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. My clients have also worked in the following sectors: tech, creative, higher education, accounting, finance and medicine. As well as working in education, I have extensive experience as a mentor and youth work practitioner. As a senior mentor for the National Citizens Service (NCS), I facilitated public speaking workshops in supporting young people, aged 15-17 to build communication skills, confidence and speaking out on issues which matter to them, in preparation for university, the world of work and their daily lives.

About the lesson

My approach is to use coaching principles to help you to identify the areas to help you improve your confidence speaking English. I will be utilising my extensive background in education, mentoring, as well as my passion to provide guidance in reaching your confidence goals. This means that you will be challenged and taken out of your comfort zone and mindset shift. The mission, if you choose to accept it, is a feeling of empowerment, transformation in your confidence communicating in English.
