About Chiara
I graduated in June 2022 in Modern Languages and Literature (LM-37) with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude. I am currently waiting to take the C2 Proficiency exam and to start my career as a school teacher. My philosophy of language teaching is oriented to communication (the ultimate goal of learning a foreign language), both written and spoken, for which a jovial and peaceful learning environment is necessary, which in fact is one of my priorities. . My lessons are adaptable to all needs and all students, but the results will not depend only on my work: it would be nice to learn a foreign language with a couple of lessons, but the reality is that it requires commitment from both the teacher and the learner. I will do my best to inspire and entertain you, to show you how exciting it can be to know a foreign language and its reference culture!

I offer private lessons for the preparation of university exams and for obtaining the main language certifications, but also repetitions for I and II level secondary school students.
Classes usually begin with a general conversation, a "warm-up"; always following "Communicative language teaching" as a teaching method, you will pass on to exercise the skills of Reading and Listening with the support of audio-visual material or a textbook (describe an image, make assumptions about it, confirm your own assumptions by reading the text and commenting on it). Depending on the different needs of the student, the exercises may also concern the ability to produce written texts, while the ability to speak in the language will be constantly the subject of the lesson. I believe that the best way to learn grammar is by using it through a "trial and error" process, and I am not convinced of the effectiveness of a purely grammatical approach. This will rather be inserted within a teaching methodology oriented above all to communication, which I will adapt to the needs and particularities of each individual student.
