About Alicia

Hi! I'm a current English Literature student with an adaptive, friendly, enthusiastic and patient approach. I have 3+ years of teaching experience with students from an early age to young adults. I believe that learning can be genuinely enjoyable for anyone.
Former St Paul's Girls' School student
Current King's College Wimbledon student

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is adaptive, as I tailor my teaching style to what each student would benefit best from. However, across every interaction with students, I am encouraging, supportive and eager to share my passion for the subject. I am enthusiastic, driven, optimistic and incredibly committed. Often, students believe that they dislike or 'can't do' a certain subject, sometimes as a consequence of a negative teacher experience or a lack of self esteem. I can change this mindset. I throw myself fully into whatever I do, and I also genuinely enjoy a good challenge- I believe that the best rewards come from hard work. I also have ADHD so can give personally informed lessons to students with learning difficulties.
