About Pavan
Hi! I graduated in English Language & Literature graduate from King’s College London in 2018, and have been working in journalism ever since. I have always loved reading and writing, and spent years fine-tuning my own techniques for close reading and essay writing - I would love to pass those skills on and help you get to where you want to be!
While I am new to tutoring, I have helped many new students in areas like reading poetry, Shakespeare, and other books and texts from the GCSE and A Level syllabi. Plus, I love talking about all things English lit!

Ahead of our first meeting, I would ask for some examples of your work, and a breakdown of your syllabus. We would use the session to chat through what you want to achieve, and set out an outline.
From there, we would spend our one-hour lessons going through work, practising close reading together, and looking into the technique and mark schemes.
I am driven to help you succeed, and share in an enjoyment for literature. I want to help you thrive and carry those skills in future learnings too!
