About Regis
Hello potential client! I have been in education for a long time, even prior to my degrees. I am pursuing a doctoral (EdD) this fall in order to pick up more skills so that I can reach more groups moving forward. I have also recently been hired as a tenured professor in English so hopefully that serves as a demonstrative accolade to my abilities and dedication to learning! My college degrees specialize in reading and writing (creative and academic).

Perfect! Regis lives up to his name as a tutor. He has an excellent grasp of the steps to guide a student through both writing. He has been flexible, professional, and personable when working with my daughter. He is able to align his skill set to meet Naomi where she is in middle school writing. Everything I have requested be supported has been thorough and detailed. I cannot wait to see how much she grows from his tutoring over time after such an excellent beginning few sessions!

Professor Peeples was my instructor during my second semester at Otis College of Art & Design. At the time COVID-19 had become a global pandemic and the world was subsequently on lockdown. All of my classes were on zoom and the feelings of isolation started to set in. Most online courses failed to hold my attention and create a space where I felt comfortable enough to share. Fortunately enough for me, I was put into Professor Peeples's Ways of Knowing Liberal Studies class, and I was introduced to how knowledge is created and shared by diverse cultures across disciplines and contexts. Intersectionality was a main talking point and we did a project where we got to share about ourselves. Professor Peeples created a fun working environment where answers and participation weren't forced, they were freely volunteered. As a student, it is very rare to find a teacher that can open up an entire class and get everyone to enjoy learning. I can't recommend Professor Peeples enough as an instructor.
Regis is an exemplary teacher! He is extremely knowledgable about all things reading and writing, and he finds ways to connect with students so that they feel comfortable and look forward to their sessions. I worked with Regis previously, and he consistently received high marks and positive feedback from all his students and their families. Students were able to produce fantastic pieces of writing at the end of their time with Regis, and it was completely due to his quality teaching and ability to motivate. I would highly recommend him for any teaching role!
I worked with Regis and i can say that it was a great working with him. He is extremely knowledgable in English and has helped me a ton with things like my resume, and school assignments with aspects like the tone and diversity of words choices. I highly recommend his services! You will be getting more than your moneys worth.
I've taught with Regis for a few years and am always impressed with his thoughtfulness and knowledge! He listens to each of his students and is adept at meeting students where they are and helping them achieve the next level in their learning.
