I’m a Art and History student at Newcastle University who is passionate about literature. My lessons are made from open communication with my student based on our discussions I will cater each lesson to their needs and requirements . My lessons are to revive the pupils interests in literature and allow them to gain a new perspective on the subject.

I am greatly passionate about teaching literature and wish to help students rediscover their love for the subject. I hope to help you gain a depth of knowledge surrounding your chosen texts and encourage you to think critically about literature. This will push you toward the higher-grade boundaries and help you to formulate strong answers . My lessons will consist of open discussions and questions, focusing on a text which is then analysed and discussed together, before attempting exam questions. During our lesson, we will establish what you want or need to focus on, whether that be revising content you have covered in class, practising exam techniques or pushing to go up a grade. Our lessons will then be tailored to you from there, so it is really important that I find out exactly where you are, and where you want to be. We will often do past exam style questions for me to keep a track of where your writing skills are, but we will also spend a couple of lessons preparing for these - looking at some examples and consolidating your knowledge on what I'm about to test you on. There will be opportunities for you to ask me questions and when I am going through your answers, I will be constantly checking to see where we can improve. Although I will plan my lessons beforehand, if there is anything that you want to pay particular attention to you just need to send me a quick message and I will alter the lesson plan. After all, these lessons are designed to aid you in your studies.
