About Tori
I am currently in my second year studying Criminology for my Bachelor of Arts at SFU. I've won awards in Social Studies and Composition, and was the Historian of my graduating class!
I also have a lot of experience working with kids, as I tutor English for two different centers and work in summer camps with the Olympic Oval. I have also been a part of the cadet program, where I have spent a lot of time creating lesson plans, lesson materials, and teaching classes on many different technical and applicable concepts.
In tutoring, I have helped my peers and students with essay writing, taught paragraph writing, grammar, and spelling. I have also taught phonics and reading, and occasionally teach elementary Math and Science. I can also help with strengthening your reading comprehension skills through Social Studies!
I am primarily offering tutoring at an online capacity, as I am often on campus for school. But I am very adaptable to learning styles and believe that I can help your kids learn more about English and increase their skill level!
