About Katelyn
Hi! I'm Katelyn, a certified early elementary teacher and intervention specialist entering my sixth year in education. I love helping young learners build confidence and discover that learning can be fun. My classroom experience includes working with students of all abilities, including children with Autism, and I enjoy adapting lessons to meet each child's unique needs.
Whether your child needs extra support, homework help, or a confidence boost, my goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and celebrating their progress. I believe every child is capable of success with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, and I look forward to helping your child reach their goals!

My goal is to make learning engaging, encouraging, and personalized for every student. I believe children learn best when they feel confident and supported, so I use hands-on activities, games, visual supports, and positive reinforcement to keep lessons interactive and fun.
Each lesson begins with a quick review of previously learned skills, followed by explicit instruction, guided practice, and independent practice to ensure understanding. I adjust my teaching based on each student's learning style and pace, providing additional support or enrichment as needed.
As a certified early elementary teacher and intervention specialist with six years of classroom experience, I have worked with students of all abilities, including those with Autism and other diverse learning needs. I specialize in helping preschool through third-grade students strengthen foundational reading, writing, and math skills while building confidence and a love of learning.
My lessons are ideal for young learners who need extra practice, intervention, homework support, or enrichment in a patient and positive environment.
