About Ronnie
Hey there,
My name is Ronnie and I am a guitar teacher based in North West London with over 10 years experience in live performances and a Degree in Contemporary Music. I have regularly been in bands since I picked up my first electric guitar at 11 and I have experience in songwriting and singing.
I crafted my music theory knowledge and performance skills at the London Centre of Contemporary Music where I studied with some of the best Jazz and Blues tutors in the Capital.
Half way through my course I decided I wanted to pass on the passion for music onto younger minds so I started giving private lessons to pupils between 6 and 11 years old at a Music school that a fellow student opened in East London.

Throughout my 5 years teaching experience I developed a relaxed and comfortable approach for the students to learn and enjoy the session.
I do understand the necessity for different people to learn different things to keep the interest going so I don’t usually have a set program for all students but I make it up as I get to know the person more.
I believe in the importance of Music Theory for a better understanding of how music is written and performed and I also provide my students with regular listening material which is a big part of my teaching style. Improvisation and writing are my strongest points and I feel these two aspects can vastly improve anyone's confidence and playing. I can provide the students with backing tracks for practising at home.

Please note that there is a 12 hour cancellation policy, therefore you will be charged half (£15) if you decide to cancel within 12 hours prior to your lesson. If you fail to turn up to your booked lesson slot without giving me any notice, you will be charged full price
