About Tumelo

I am a computer systems engineering graduate, and I have been giving individual lessons for 7 months. I have taught one student over this period having covered 4 projects thus far with an arsenal of many others to cover, my student gains not only knowledge but some qualitative hands on experience, when he started with me he was 9 years old.

About the lesson

I teach the student to understand how he/she can take my lessons and apply them into the way of life, so i first introduce the topic/project and then we go through it together, with electronics we always have practicals so we see what materials we need and if we have scrap materials we use them (reuse), other materials i provide such as electronic components (LEDs etc). This teaches the student to view electronics differently as they will now notice how every gadget in the world is done using electronics - a basic understanding of what certain components do goes a long way in the learning process.
