About Sandrine

I worked as French language assistant (volunteering) at St Brendan's Sixth Form College in Bristol with small groups of French A level students, practicing the speaking.
I worked in collaboration with the teacher, took her instructions and provided her with feedback on the students’ performance and progress
They appreciated my happiness, my sense of humour and my ability to use the right words and to provide simple and clear explanations. The most important is to keep things interesting and entertaining for the students.
My private lessons are customised to each student’s individual needs and are designed to be fun and interactive. Learning a language can be tough, especially French with all its rules, exceptions and spelling. I work in a comfortable and relaxed environment. I adapt my lessons according to their level. I am patient, flexible, and motivational. I am able to maximise their potential.
My current students are from all ages (from 6 to 69 years old), from beginners to A-Level, face to face and in small groups.
My philosophy : “Learn French as if you are in France and have fun!"

About the lesson

As French native speaker, I am passionate about teaching French, and have a great understanding in how to keep children and adults engaged during their lessons. I have a positive mindset, everyone is unique and learns in different ways.
I encourage them to achieve fantastic results. I am able to adapt quickly to different working environments.

Perfect! Since meeting Sandrine I have learnt so much more than conversational French! Sandrine embodies the French language. Her lesson are fun and informative and she is always happy to clarify phrases I may not have met before. I don't look upon our sessions as work... Sandrine and I converse as friends might, although my language is stilted at times! I'm learning and having fun!
