About Erin

I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Birmingham. I am from Oxford and can happily tutor in Birmingham in term time or Oxford in school holidays. I can tutor in medical school applications including personal statements, interviews, UKCAT and general UCAS help. I am happy to tutor Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Music to A level and any other common school subject up to GCSE. I myself appreciate the help personal, 1 on 1 tuition can give especially when someone has high goals and standards they set of themselves. I will deliver personalised lessons based on a pupil's needs and wants. I will offer a discounted first lesson as a 'get to know each other' session. As well as subject specific help, I can offer advice in obtaining work experience placements (I myself had placement in care homes, hospitals and GP practices) and can offer personal statement advice and general university advice. Erin is a very patient tutor who explains topics very clearly and in a way that was easy for me to understand. She has tutored me for multiple topics in medicine and helped my understanding. Any questions proposed are well answered and sessions are well planned, covering all of the learning objectives required for that topic in sufficient detail.
Her communication and presentation skills are also very good which is why I think she will be a great tutor to other students.
