About Abigail
Working with busy professionals is surprisingly similar to teaching kids. I rarely start with a book.
Music theory is just a fancy name for what we do on the back porch. I bring 9 years of experience playing in the Appalachian tradition to our sessions.
I have guided 103 students through blues progressions, chord transitions, and songwriting. Reading tabs and strumming patterns can be picked up once you have the rhythm in your bones.
My degree from UCLA gives me the technical edge for lead guitar and maintenance. I keep my methods simple and effective. You will find I am always ready to pick a tune.
