About Mai

Hi! I’m a student with a strong passion for math, and I offer tutoring for grades 6–11. Since I’ve recently studied these topics myself, I understand where students often struggle and how to explain concepts in a simple, relatable way. I’m patient, friendly, and focused on helping students build confidence and truly understand math—not just memorize it. Whether you need help with homework, test prep, or just want to improve, I’m here to support you!

About the lesson

As a current student, I understand exactly what it's like to learn math today—what confuses students, what methods actually help, and which explanations click best. I’ve recently studied the same topics, so I can explain them in a way that feels natural and relatable. I focus on clear, simple steps and real strategies that worked for me, not just textbook theory. Plus, I’m closer in age to my students, which makes it easier to build a friendly, supportive learning environment where questions feel welcome.
