About Alicia
I have taught hundreds of students and watched them grow as math learners. My students would tell you that I am knowledgeable and extremely patient and that I meet you where you are in your ability and knowledge. My students who have prepared for AP exams in Calculus and Statistics have all received 4 or 5 earning them college credit after high school. Other students have improved their SAT math scores by more that 50 points, sometimes as much as 150 points. In their math classes, my students all have raised their grades significantly above where they started and have reported that their confidence has been boosted as well.

I have more than 20 years of math teaching experience at the high school level. Calculus, precalculus, and statistics are my areas of expertise. I am very patient and have many different approaches to every topic. My methodology changes for every student that I work with and I adapt my style to every persons learning style. I strive to build confidence in my students and make them believe that they can do it!
