I have a real passion and enthusiasm for the field of education. I have had the opportunity to provide high quality educational services, including the teaching of academic subjects and test/study skills, as well as methods to manage test anxiety, to middle school through college students, assisting them to overcome obstacles to their learning. More specifically, my background as a psychologist provides the basis for counseling and tutoring students with special needs, instructing them in methods to manage test anxiety, and organizing and restructuring their study skills for increased productivity. I am caring, compassionate, and patient--all characteristics necessary to work with students who are struggling academically.
