About Sejal

Hi, I’m Sejal! I’m a Biology major who has spent the past three years helping students succeed in math, science, and Spanish. I know what it feels like to be stuck on a problem or nervous about an exam, so I make sure my lessons are clear, interactive, and even enjoyable. When we work together, you’ll get personalized attention and plenty of chances to practice and explain your thinking. I guide you step by step, but I also give you space to build confidence and learn from mistakes without pressure. Students tell me they feel comfortable right away and actually look forward to our sessions. My goal is simple: to help you improve your grades while also building the skills and self-confidence you need to tackle any challenge. Learning doesn’t have to feel scary — with the right support, it can be fun and empowering.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Sejal. I know what it feels like to sit in your spot as a student, stressed about tests, confused by tricky concepts, and worried about grades dropping over small mistakes. That is why I build my lessons around empathy, clarity, and interactivity.

I give personalized attention to each student and share the strategies I have learned to help them avoid common mistakes. During sessions, I use a digital whiteboard to draw out the work step by step, making concepts visual and easier to understand. Lessons are interactive because I ask students to explain their thought process while solving problems. This builds confidence and helps them learn by talking it out.

We begin by reviewing past material or homework to identify areas of difficulty. I then guide the student through new examples while giving them opportunities to attempt problems and explain their reasoning. I provide real-time feedback and adjust the pace based on their comfort. At the end, I summarize the key points and create a short plan for practice.

Students often tell me that I create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to make tutoring feel like teamwork rather than a lecture. I truly love helping others and I put in my best effort to help every student succeed.

I work with elementary through high school students in math up to Calculus 1 including statistics, high school sciences, and Spanish through AP level. My lessons are designed to support students who need steady guidance throughout the school year as well as those preparing for exams.
