I am a dedicated student-athlete at the University of Ottawa, where I balance the rigors of competing on the varsity track team with a high level of academic achievement. This background has instilled in me a strong sense of discipline and a unique perspective on goal-setting, which I bring to every tutoring session. I begin every session by discussing the student’s specific academic goals to ensure our time is tailored to accommodate their needs and learning style. My methodology follows a clear three-step process: first, we identify the current unit and specific topics causing difficulty; second, I provide a custom lesson plan and walk through practice problems while explaining concepts thoroughly; and finally, the student tackles problems independently to build confidence. To ensure long-term success, I provide homework to consolidate what has been learned. These lessons are designed for high school students in Grades 9 through 12 looking to excel in Math and Science.
