About Luke
I am a University student currently studying a bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I have previously tutored in Chemistry and Math at a high school level. I have taken many AP level Science courses and I am most familiar in the subjects of Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I have also tutored Algebra in the past and can Tutor in a variety of Maths

I always find the best way to teach someone is to know what they have already learned and, more importantly, what they understand. Because of this, I always start teaching by having a student walk me through a problem or subject until they either don't understand the next part or can't do it. I find this keeps me from wasting a students time as that way I am not repeating stuff they already know. I then pick up where they left off and walk them through the rest of the problem, making them do the work as much as possible to make sure they remember how to do it. If the student still does not understand the problem, I try explaining it in a different way or comparing it to something. I never give up trying to make someone understand a problem and take pride in furthering someones knowledge in a subject.
