About Finn

My name is Finn and I'm a recent chemistry graduate with a strong background in the sciences and maths. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students, as a private tutor and an unpaid voluntary tutor at the school I used to attend. If you struggle with maths and science I'm here to lend you a helping hand!

About the lesson

My lessons are typically an hour in length. Generally, half of the lesson is dedicated to assimilating the subject matter and the other half is focused on active recall (answering questions, solving problems et cetera). Active recall is a scientifically backed method of forming new memories and it is a technique I have employed extensively throughout my Chemistry studies at the University of Bristol, and I will continue to use it throughout my master's degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London next year.

My lessons are suitable for GCSE science and maths students, and I also tutor A-level chemistry and maths.
