I had the opportunity to be taught by Jasminder ma'am during my college years, and she was our Chemistry teacher. Looking back, I can confidently say that she played a very important role not just in helping me understand Chemistry, but also in building my confidence as a student.

The thing I value the most about Jasminder ma'am is the amount of trust she creates in the classroom. She has a very patient and calm way of teaching. There were many times when I struggled with difficult topics like organic reaction mechanisms, mole concepts, and lab experiments. Instead of making me feel bad for not understanding, she would sit down and explain it again, step by step, until it made sense. She always said that asking doubts is a sign of learning, not weakness, and that made a huge difference for me.

Another quality that really stands out is how much she believes in her students. In the lab, I remember making mistakes during titrations and practicals. A lot of teachers would get frustrated, but ma'am’s approach was completely different. She would tell us, "Mistakes are part of the process. That is how you learn. Try again, I know you can do better." Because she trusted us and gave us that space to learn from errors, we slowly started trusting ourselves too.

Jasminder ma'am is also extremely clear and practical in her teaching. She never just made us mug up formulas. She always connected Chemistry to real life examples — medicines, food, cosmetics, pollution — so we could actually understand why what we were learning mattered.
