I studied conservation biology and ecology and I live in Costa Rica where I work as a guide in the rainforest and I am involved with reforestation projects.
Apart from maths and moths, my interests include art, travel, and playing the piano.

Hi there, I'm Dan. I have a PhD in biology (specifically, in moths), and to study moths, you need to use maths! I have an A level (A* grade) in maths and have used it extensively throughout my undergrad and postgrad degrees. Maths has always been my favourite subject both to learn and to teach and I have several years' experience tutoring maths GCSE and IGCSE.
In my lessons, I will identify your strengths and help you to work on areas that need improvement. Combining theory with real-world examples, I will help you reach the point where the concepts 'click' and become intuitive and even fun!
I currently teach maths up to AS level (11th grade/highschool/age 16-17) including GCSE Additional Maths
