About Mark
I have had a varied and interesting career path, not what I planned when young! One of my oldest memories is struggling with Maths. I decided that I would help others who found the subject challenging. I started as a Teacher’s Assistant many years ago, then became a secondary school teacher. I’ve had experience in business and agriculture. I’ve started and sold two businesses, so also have an interest in GCSE Business Studies. I have current experience with teaching in a secondary school as well as running mentoring courses for Year 11.

I strive to make tuition interesting and humorous - laughter and learning go together! But most importantly discovering how YOU learn! Be versatile in presentation and able to bring everyday examples in reference. Tutors are one hour and I like to include some work to be done by the student between lessons. While this is voluntary and included in my fees, I feel it helps learning.
