About Alejandro
I’m a musician, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist composer, and producer with over 10 years of experience playing guitar. I started playing when I was a child, and over time my work has grown into songwriting, music theory, composition, recording, and sound design.
At the moment, I’m developing my own creative work across guitar, composition, and production, with a particular interest in original music, cinematic sound, and helping ideas become fully formed pieces. Because of this, I have a broad understanding of music beyond just learning chords or songs. I can help students understand how technique, rhythm, harmony, and creativity all connect.
I’m especially interested in helping beginners and lower-intermediate players build confidence, good habits, and a genuine understanding of the instrument. I know what it is like to develop as a self-taught musician, so I try to explain things clearly and practically, without making lessons feel intimidating or overly formal.
My goal as a tutor is to make students feel supported while still giving them useful, focused guidance. Whether someone wants to learn their first chords, improve their technique, understand theory, write songs, or simply feel more confident playing guitar, I aim to create lessons that are encouraging, practical, and tailored to the individual.

My approach to guitar tutoring is relaxed, practical, and personalised to the student.
I aim to help students build real confidence on the instrument, rather than simply memorising songs without understanding what they are doing. I focus on technique, rhythm, theory, creativity, and musical expression, while keeping lessons enjoyable and suited to the student’s goals.
My teaching methodology combines clear explanation, demonstration, guided practice, and constructive feedback.
For beginners, I focus on strong foundations: comfortable hand position, clean fretting, basic chords, rhythm, timing, picking, strumming, and simple theory that actually helps them understand the guitar.
For lower-intermediate students, I can help with improving technique, writing riffs or songs, understanding chord progressions, developing lead ideas, improvisation, ear training, and becoming more independent as a player.
Lessons are typically around 60 minutes, though shorter lessons may be suitable for younger beginners or students who prefer a more focused session.
I have been playing guitar for over 10 years, having started when I was a child, and I have developed strong knowledge of guitar technique, music theory, songwriting, composition, and music production. My background as a musician gives me a broad understanding of how guitar fits into different styles of music, especially when it comes to creating original ideas and understanding how songs are built.
My lessons are best suited to beginners and lower-intermediate guitarists, including young people, adults, hobbyists, and anyone who wants to improve their playing in a supportive and practical way. I am especially well suited to students who want to build good habits early, understand what they are playing, and develop their own musical creativity as well as learning the basics.

I have had quite a few lessons now with Alejandro and I can certainly recommend him highly, his knowledge is so diverse, his passion and attention for detail is so immense and influential! Above all any project or production he has worked and shown as an example has left me so impressed! Check him out, you won’t be disappointed one bit
I've known Alejandro since our time together at BIMM. He's an excellent and innovative producer and a very inspiring teacher to learn from. Whenever I've asked him to teach me some more advanced production methods, it's like he intuitively understood every question I've ever asked him, it's quite impressive.
