About Mihlali
I have always been the person who finds peace in solving problems — Mathematics is how I make sense of things. I studied Applied Mathematics and Information Systems at Rhodes University, and while I am currently in a gap year, that has not stopped me from doing what I love. I have worked with eight high school learners so far, and every time a student goes from "I do not get it" to "Actually, this makes sense," I remember why I started teaching. I do this because I believe no learner should feel stupid in a classroom. My job is to find the explanation that finally clicks for you.

I don't believe in rushing through content just to finish the syllabus. Every lesson starts with understanding exactly where you are stuck — whether it's trigonometry, calculus, or algebra. I build a custom plan around your gaps, not a generic script. I teach in English and work specifically with Grade 10–12 learners who are tired of feeling lost in class. A typical session includes breaking down one problem type until you can explain it back to me, because that's when I know you actually own it. I track your progress week by week so we both know what's improving and what still needs work.
