About Andy
I am from the North of England and graduated from the University of Northumbria with a 1st Class Masters (85) and achieved an Outstanding on the BPTC. I work in legal practise daily and enjoy the intricacies of the law and explaining this to Defendants and Clients. I have experience leading Mock Trials and managing real trials and cases within court. I have worked with exceptional Judges, Academics, Lawyers and Legal Teams to hone my expertise and develop my professional skills.
As an individual, I am forward-thinking and motivated to keep developing my skills. I am currently on a career pathway to apply to be a District Judge. I am willing to take on a small number of students to ensure that each one gets all of the help and expertise that I can offer.

I offer a very personalised approach to ensure that I can assist through your studies at all levels from ALEVEL through to MASTERS/BPTC Level.
I will communicate beforehand to ensure we both know what specific part of a module that you want to focus on and I will help teach you in a practical sense with examples so that the lessons stick in your mind. This can vary from something that is a new concept to you or something that you may have found challenging in a lesson / seminar / lecture. I offer feedback on essays, dissertations and exam answers to ensure you can achieve your full potential within your modules or lessons.
My practical experience of working in courtrooms everyday means my legal knowledge is kept more up to date than most tutors or academics. This, alongside my ability to concisely explain complex areas of law, means that I can host engaging and informative sessions that will stick in your mind.
