About Valentina
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 15 years of teaching experience and nearly 150 students successfully trained across all skill levels. I focus on building a strong technical foundation while helping students develop confidence and musical expression. My lessons emphasise breath control, embouchure formation, posture alignment, tone clarity, articulation techniques, and finger coordination.
I believe that consistent practice and proper guidance are essential for steady improvement. I design personalised lesson plans based on each student’s goals and learning pace, ensuring measurable progress. I also provide structured practice methods to help students improve efficiently outside of class.
My unique strength lies in my patient and encouraging teaching style, which helps students overcome challenges with confidence. I maintain a supportive yet disciplined learning environment where students feel motivated to grow. My aim is to nurture technically sound and expressive flute musicians.

My flute teaching methodology focuses on holistic musical development, adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I aim to cultivate students who are technically proficient, musically expressive, and confident performers.
I begin with posture, breathing techniques, embouchure formation, tone production, and finger coordination. Students then progress through scales, articulation exercises, rhythm drills, and expressive phrasing, building both technique and musicality gradually.
Alongside practical training, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and rhythm understanding to provide a comprehensive understanding of music. This helps students apply theory to performance effectively.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons according to student goals, learning speed, and level. Collaboration is encouraged through open discussions, shared repertoire, and goal-setting sessions.
I maintain a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to practise, experiment, and grow. My goal is to nurture confident, disciplined, and expressive flute musicians who enjoy a lifelong musical journey.
