About Simon
I'm in my mid-50s so I grew up listening to classic rock, punk, new wave and ska. Since I was at school I've been singing and playing guitar in bands. I'm passionate about music and go to see live bands whenever I can.

As an experienced secondary school teacher, I've had lots of experience matching lessons to individual learners' needs. My 30-minute lessons begin with the student learning the basic chords. After that, what you learn depends on the music you like listening to. If your favourite song involves difficult chords then we'll learn those as we go along. If you want to slow down and learn something more straightforward then we can do that. The learner is in charge with the guitar offering guidance and expertise.
