About Maurice
Sometimes the hardest part of playing is simply deciding where to place your fingers. I have taught 89 students over 10 years and I still find the process of learning piano endlessly fascinating.
My approach relies on building hand independence through contemporary styles and classical repertoire. You deserve to play music that you actually care about right now.
I provide 8.0 level support by creating custom sheet music arrangements for songs you choose. We will look at chord voicing and ear training as essential parts of your daily practice.
I focus on helping you memorize pieces so you can perform them without stress. My background includes a Certificate in Music Production which helps me explain how theory works in a modern context.
