About Sienna
Teaching piano is more than a profession for me — it’s a passion that connects my love for music with my desire to inspire others. Over the years, I’ve guided students through every stage of their musical journey, from hesitant beginners to confident performers who play with true expression. My approach is patient and motivating, grounded in the belief that every student learns differently. I encourage curiosity, discipline, and creativity in equal measure, helping learners grow both technically and emotionally. My lessons are filled with positivity, humour, and an appreciation for each student’s individuality. Outside of teaching, I perform and compose regularly, exploring everything from classical to modern styles. These experiences allow me to keep my lessons fresh, dynamic, and connected to the real-world artistry of music-making.

My piano lessons are designed to help students connect deeply with music while mastering strong technical foundations. Each class balances structure with creativity — combining theory, rhythm, and expression in ways that make learning both effective and inspiring. Whether you’re playing your first notes or preparing advanced repertoire, I adapt every lesson to your pace and artistic goals. Beginners start with posture, finger positioning, and understanding rhythm patterns, gradually developing coordination and reading skills. Intermediate and advanced students work on tone control, dynamics, phrasing, and emotional interpretation. I also include ear training and improvisation so that students can understand music both visually and by feel. I believe that the piano is more than an instrument — it’s a voice for emotion and imagination. My goal is to help students experience that joy, gain confidence in performance, and develop a lifelong relationship with music that feels personal and meaningful.
